"THE BEER CHEESE THAT STARTED IT ALL"

Email us your favorite beer cheese recipe!

In addition to pretzels, crackers, vegetables and even as a topping for hot dogs, burgers and brats here's some other recipes using our beer cheese.


Beer Cheese Egg "Samich"

1Tbs. real butter
1 or 2 eggs (depending on hunger level)
cayenne pepper
paprika
garlic powder
Allman's Beer Cheese
2 pieces of whole wheat bread

Heat butter in skillet over med. high heat. When good and hot insert eggs breaking the yellow with a fork. Sprinkle cayenne, paprika, and garlic over egg while cooking (as much or as little as you like). Don't forget to flip! While eggs are cooking toast your bread and and spread a healthy dose of Allman's Beer Cheese on 1 (or both) pieces, add your egg and enjoy!



Grilled Hot Ham and Beer Cheese Sandwich

1-2 tbsp real butter
Allman's Beer Cheese
1 slice American Cheese
1 oz. thinly sliced ham
2 slices bread

Heat ham in skillet over medium high heat until warmed through. Now assemble your sandwich, spread Allman's Beer Cheese on one slice of the bread, add the ham then the slice of American Cheese and finish with the second slice of bread. Heat the butter in a hot skillet and brown the sandwich on both sides until crisp.

Allman's Beer Cheese & Salami Rolls

      Hard Salami            
   Allman's Beer Cheese       
  Red Onion (thinly sliced)

Cover one slice of salami with beer cheese and then add red onions. Roll from one side into a tight roll. Secure with a toothpick. Make as many as you want for a wonderful appetizer.
           


Beer Cheese Mushroom Caps

Mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed
(how ever many you want)
Allman's Beer Cheese

Heat oven to 350 degrees, top each mushroom with Allman's Beer Cheese, try not to overfill and watch careful until crusted over.
Allman's Beer Cheese Grits Casserole

             1/2 cup grits                  
1/2 stick butter
              1/2 tsp. salt                  
   4 oz. Allman's Beer Cheese
                     2 eggs                           
2 cups water
            3 Tbs. milk or cream         
    1 clove minced garlic

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, cook grits in salted water until done. Remove from heat and add butter, Allman's Beer Cheese, eggs and milk or cream. Place in a 9X6 casserole dish, bake for 45 min. Remove from oven and let rest for 5-10 min.
Serves 4
Cedar Key Beer Cheese Burger

             1 lb. lean ground beef             
1 medium onion
              2 Tbs. butter                
   Allman's Beer Cheese
                     sliced tomatoes                        
leaf lettuce
            Tabasco garlic pepper sauce     
   4 Buns

Divide beef into 4 patties. Caramelize onions with butter over medium heat for 15-20 minutes. Grill beef patties over charcoal until done. Top each burger with 2 Tbs. of Allman's Beer Cheese, top with the onions, garlic pepper sauce then dress with tomato and lettuce.  
Serves 4
Allman's Beer Cheese Baked Potato

4 large russet potatoes
Olive oil
2-4 Tbsp butter, softened
1/4 cup cream
1/2 cup Allman's beer cheese
4 strips cooked bacon
              1/4 cup chopped green onion             
  

Rub the potatoes all over with a little olive oil. Bake at 400°F until the potatoes are cooked through. They should give a little when pressed. If short on time you can do this in the microwave. Allow the potatoes to cool to touch. Slice the potato and spoon out the insides leaving about 1/4 inch of potato on the skin.

Place the scooped out potato insides, beer cheese, butter and cream into a large bowl. Mash with a potato masher. Spoon fillings into the potato shells and top with bacon and green onion. Place back in oven and broil for just a few minutes.  

  Beer Cheese Sausage Balls

2 lb. sausage (room temperature)
2 c. all purpose flour
2 c. bisquick
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 c. Allman's Beer Cheese
1/4 c. milk

Mix all together and shape into balls. Bake on a cookie sheet
at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
